Jocelyn A. Gravel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Northwestern University. Upon graduation, Jocelyn enrolled in Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree. During her time at Loyola, Jocelyn earned her advocacy certificate, was on the Dean’s List, participated in her school’s civil mock trial team, and was very passionate about her work teaching law to High School students in Chicago. Further, during her law school career, Jocelyn also participated in various externships, one of which was clerking as a judicial extern with the Illinois Appellate Court.
Prior to joining O’Connor Law Firm as an attorney, Jocelyn clerked with the firm for two years during law school. Throughout that time, Jocelyn gained extensive experience in a variety of personal injury matters including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and police brutality cases. Jocelyn is passionate about giving back to her community and has volunteered with organizations who serve the homeless population in both Lake and Cook County. She has also participated in one-on-one mentorship with at-risk youth as well as volunteering as a tutor. Jocelyn’s passion for service aligns perfectly with her work at O’Connor Law Firm wherein she thoroughly enjoys getting to advocate for her clients and helping her clients recover for the wrong that has been done to them.
